There are a variety of offline software tools developed for rendering of raw (lta)data which can display bandpass, antenna dependent gains, amplitude and phase plots as a function of time, baseline and hour angle. Using these tools, the bad data occurring due to the malfunctioning of the antenna systems or correlator baselines or ionospheric problems like scintillation can be checked. This is useful for debugging, consistency check of the systems while observing or for flagging and discarding the bad visibility data.
Also to convert the 'lta' data to FITS (Flexible Image Transport Systems) format programs
have been developed. FITS is the standard format of the data which can be read in data analysis
software called AIPS (Astronomical Image Processing Software).
