1. You are aware that overall prices of almost all grocery & vegetable items are increased by more than 25-30 %.We have been trying to keep the canteen prices as it is for a long time. However it is difficult to continue providing these items in the same prices.

2. It is therefore proposed to increase the canteen prices for the following items.
   1.Fixed quantity Lunch/Dinner-Rs.20/-per plate.
   2.Fixed quantity Breakfast(per plate)-Rs.9/-per plate.
   3.Fixed quantity snacks item(per plate)-Rs.9/-per plate.
   4.tea per cup Rs.3/-
   5.Other items,extra items will be charged as per list enclosed.
   6.Packed items will be sold at MRP rates.
   7.50% extra will be charged on all prepared items in the canteen,if parcels are requested/taken.

3. These rates will be applicable only to staff members,their dapendents and long term contract employees.

4. For any other members/outsiders,the rates will be charged as under
   1.Fixed quantity Lunch/Dinner-Rs.50/-per plate.
   2.Fixed quantity Breakfast/Snacks(per plate)-Rs.15/-per plate.
   3.tea per Cup Rs.5/-

This has been approved by the dean GO,Center Director,Canteen Committee and the GCA.
