The operating system used in GMRT network is UNIX. All the antenna control, data acquisation, correlator control are being done by the computers. The network is being maintained by System Administrator. Linux PC's are also used for data analysis and other works. Astronomoers can use the computer facility from "Terminal Room" whereas commom computer facility for engineering staff is available at "Computer room". Telescope is mainly controlled from the "control room" by telescope operators. Also, in each lab, there is one computer available on the gmrt network.
