Monitor

The main function of C-44 PIU is to monitor the processes going in the whole IF System. It also acts as an interface between the Central Electronics Building (CEB) and the IF System. The commands from CEB are given to the Antenna Base Computer (commonly called as ABC) which decodes the signals and gives the output to the control unit in C45 PIU. The monitor input taken from each PIU's are combined and using a monitor card they are processd and through ABC they are fed to Control unit in C45.

Monitor Card

The monitor Card used in the C44 PIU is a four layer PCB. The resistive networks are used in this control card.

Antenna Base Computer

Power Supply

The power supply is made up of an AC distribution panel and a DC distribution panel and both are employed for different purposes.
